Strawberry Kale Smoothie

I wish I could take the credit for this one but my 3 year old is actually the one who came up with this recipe.

Ingredients:
1 Banana
Frozen Strawberries
Baby Kale
Raw Hemp Seeds
Raw Cashews
Flax Meal
Coconut Oil
Flax Seed Oil
Water

Just combine ingredients and blend for a kid approved plant based and paleo friendly smoothie. If you or your kids like it sweet just add some extra strawberries.

Fried Sweet Potatoes

This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes. It also makes a great pre workout or pre race meal for athletes.

Preheat a frying pan on medium heat. Add about a table spoon of coconut oil. You can add more if needed while cooking to keep potatoes from sticking.

Cut potatoes into thin slices.

Place slices in frying pan and cook until they start to brown.

Add sea salt and maple syrup.

Coconut Cacao Almond Cherry Smoothie

One of my favorite recovery smoothies. It was a great finish to today’s Crossfit workout.

2 Bananas
Frozen cherries
Frozen blueberries
Flax meal
Flax oil
Raw hemp seeds
Raw Cacao
Unsweetened coconut flakes
Half of a can of coconut milk
Raw sprouted brown rice protein
Raw sliced almonds
Coconut/almond milk
